Now you can send data from your cell phone or any other Bluetooth device unto the internal storage of the NAS server. You first though needed a Bluetooth adapter, such as the Kensington Micro adapter here and plug it into one of the USB ports. ![]() The StorCenter is the first NAS server I've ever tested that supports Bluetooth. These USB ports can be used to host webcams, printers, external hard drives and for the first time Bluetooth adapters. On the back, you're gonna find the Gigabit Ethernet port and two USB ports. On the front the StorCenter has nothing but a blue status light that actually really bright, enough to be annoying if you want to keep your room completely dark. You can choose to have a 1-terabyte or 2-terabyte version of the NAS server, but you can't change the hard drive by yourself. ![]() ![]() The StorCenter ix2 come with two hard drives. It's barely larger than two 3.5-inch hard drive put together. It's probably as compact as a NAS that support two regular sized hard drive can be.
